Oral negative-pressure therapy (OPT) provides a non-invasive, mask-free option for obstructive sleep apnea patients with poor CPAP adherence. A meta-analysis of published studies showed a 42.6% reduction in mean apnea–hypopnea index, with a moderate effect size and low heterogeneity, supporting OPT as a potential alternative for selected patients.
